Overview

The Gaming Authority (GA) considers that the Amusement Machines Regulations (Legal Notice 74 of 2011) issued under the Lotteries and Other Games Act (Cap. 438 of the Laws of Malta) empowers the GA to request any person wanting to register any other amusement machine in Malta to fill in this application form.

What you'll get

Upon successful review of the application, the Gaming Authority shall issue an approval for the respective other amusement machine.

Eligibility

Anyone hosting the following types of machines within any premises is required to register them with the Authority:
i) Billiards, pool and, or snooker tables unless operated electronically through video display.
ii) Table-soccer tables unless operated electronically through video display.
iii) ‘Kiddie-rides’.
iv) Air-hockey's unless operated electronically through video display.
v) Children reaction games unless operated electronically through video display.
vi) Flipper and, or pinball unless operated electronically through video display.
vii) Sports simulation games unless operated electronically through video display. Provided that sports games and mechanical or electronical equipment ordinarily required for sports games shall not require an approval.
