Authorisation to Operate a VRT Station

Overview

Process to apply for an authorisation to operate a Vehicle Roadworthiness Testing (VRT) Station. A VRT or testing station refers to the premises in which Transport Malta has authorised the carrying out of periodic vehicle roadworthiness tests.

What you'll get

An authorisation to operate a VRT Station in accordance with the Motor Vehicle (Roadworthiness Test) Regulations - S.L. 65.15.

Eligibility

Undertakings must have a clean conduct, suitable premises covered by a planning permit, approved equipment to carry out tests and sound financial standing of at least €23,000 in assets.
