Overview

Aġenzija Żgħażagħ in collaboration with Band Clubs Association annually organise the 'Musical Tuition for Young People in Band Clubs’ scheme, as part of its Programme to Support Youth Organisations.This scheme is managed by the agency through the Parliamentary Secretariat for Youth, Sport and Voluntary Organisations. Band Clubs in various localities around Malta and Gozo provide young people with the opportunity to learn and develop their musical skills.

The main aim behind this scheme is to provide financial assistance to local Band Clubs to come up with initiatives and proposals which encourage young people to learn how to play a musical instrument and/or improve the tuition services that are already being provided. They can also come up with sustainable and innovative initiatives to develop and /or upgrade their current teaching facilities and services.

What you'll get

Band clubs gain access to financing to musical tuition services and teaching resources (including musical instruments) required for tuition projects with young people approved under this scheme. Band Clubs may submit proposals under two categories of financial assistance;

Category B – for joint proposals by two band clubs or more and which has an allocation of maximum of €2,000 per applicant band club for the initiative.
