  • Social Security Payments (DSS)

    This service is intended for Social Security beneficiaries who would like to view a list of Social Security Benefits payments paid for the past 5 years.
  • Social Work – Active Ageing and Community Care

    The aim of the Social Work service is to provide emotional support, guidance and assistance to senior citizens. This service deals with social casework, provides advocacy for clients, facilitates self-help management and develops action plans, performs crisis intervention work, provides assessments for Home Help Service and liaises with the geriatric and general rehabilitation hospitals.

    This service also deals with reports on senior citizens having acute conditions who are residing in residential homes. The Social Work Unit which manages this service also assess social cases and deals with them accordingly. This Unit also liaises with the Health Department, the police, local councils, parish priests and other community organisations.

  • State Funded Food Distribution Scheme (DSS)

    scheme is aimed at reaching a wider range of people in need. Families who already benefit from the Fund for European Aid (FEAD) won’t be eligible.

    Families won’t simply be given food for free but also the social support necessary.

  • Statement of Earnings - FS3 (DSS)

    This service is intended for Social Security beneficiaries who would like to issue a Statement of Earnings (FS3), for Social Security payments paid for a specific year for the past 2 years. Since this is an electronic document it does not require a signature.
  • Statement of No Earnings (DSS)

    This service enables citizens to issue a Statement from the Department of Social Security certifying that they did not receive any social security benefit payments for a specific year in the previous 5 years up to the date the statement was issued.


    Since this is an electronic document, it does not require a signature. The generated Statement is not an FS3 and cannot be used for tax purposes.

  • Statement of Payments Issued (DSS)

    This service is intended for Social Security beneficiaries who would like to generate a list of Payments Issued Statement for Social Security Benefits payments paid for a specific year for the past 5 years. This statement is not an FS3 and hence cannot be used for tax purposes. Since this is an electronic document it does not require a signature


  • Statutory Bonuses - Pensioner Employed Part-time (DSS)

    A Pensioner who retires on his pension age may opt to continue working. In this circumstance, if the pensioner is employed part-time, he may be entitled for the difference in payment of statutory bonuses from that paid by the employer. This also applies to beneficiaries in reciept of Severe Disability Assistance and are employed part-time. This does not apply to beneficiaries in receipt of Tapering of Benefits who are employed part-time.
  • Statutory Bonuses (DSS)

    A beneficiary who is in receipt of Social Assistance, Non-Contributory or Contributory Pension, is entitled for the payment of Statutory Bonuses.
  • Supplementary Allowance – Not Responsible for Household (DSS)

    A Supplementary Allowance may be awarded to an employed, single person with low income, is currently not in receipt of a Children’s Allowance and also not responsible for the family that he/she lives with. This allowance is intended to help a person bridge his/her income requirements.
  • Supplementary Allowance - Responsible for Household (DSS)

    A Supplementary Allowance may be awarded to a person having a low income and is currently not in receipt of a Children’s Allowance. This allowance is intended to help a person bridge his / her income requirements.
