The eID account or Electronic Identity Account is a trusted authentication mechanism for residents to electronically identify themselves to access eGovernment services.

Eligibility
All Maltese Citizens and eResidence document holders who are 14 years and over.
How to apply
You may apply for an eID account by visiting any servizz.gov premises.
You may also apply by filling in the eID section on the Form ID10/ID10a when you visit the Identity Cards Office in Gattard House, Blata l-Bajda or the Gozo Identity Cards Unit in The Tower, 1st Floor, Triq Fortunato Mizzi, Victoria Gozo during the following hours:
Monday to Friday – 07.30am to 14.00pm
Wednesday – 15.00pm to 18.00pm
Saturday – 07.30am to 11.00am
