Overview
Farm rearing poultry or pigs falling within scope of the thresholds stipulated in Schedule 1 of the Industrial Emissions (IPPC) Regulations (S.L. 549.77) require an Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) permit prior to operation.
What you'll get
Subject to the Authority's approval and conditions, the operator will be allowed to operate such installations in line with the required environmental standards stipulated under the Industrial Emissions Directive (IED) Regulations.
Eligibility
Local and/or foreign individuals or corporate bodies operating farms used for intensive rearing of poultry or pigs.
