Overview
If a company or individual intends to export waste or import waste for recovery purposes from/into Malta, a permit from the Environment and Resources (ERA), from the country of destination and from transit countries (if applicable) is required prior to commencement of shipment.
What you'll get
Subject to the Authority's approval and conditions, the vehicle will be registered with ERA as a waste carrier to transport specific classes of waste and allowed entry into authorised waste management facilities.
Eligibility
Local and/or foreign individuals or corporate bodies.
