Supporting Sustainable Quality Employment in Gozo Scheme

Overview

The Supporting Sustainable Quality Employment in Gozo Scheme will provide aid, in the form of partial salary reimbursements, to employers located and with a registered address in Gozo, to sustain this transition towards enhanced full-time employment sustainability on an indefinite basis:

a) either of newly employed staff based in Gozo.

b) or of staff based in Gozo, already employed with the same undertaking uninterruptedly as from 1^st January 2018 onwards and for which their employer has already benefitted from the full 3-year cycle under the Gozo Employment Refund Scheme or Gozo Back-Office Employment Refund Scheme.

What you'll get

The aid that beneficiaries will receive from the Supporting Sustainable Quality Employment in Gozo scheme over a period of 3 years, will cover partial reimbursement of the Annual Basic Salary of each employee on a full-time, indefinite contract.

Aid will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to the scheme’s terms and conditions and to the annual ceiling and total budget.

Eligibility

All undertakings and employers based in Gozo are eligible to apply if satisfying the eligibility criteria as indicated in the scheme’s Guidance Notes.
