Overview
The Family Support Unit within Aġenzija Sapport organises workshops for minor siblings of persons with disabilities. These workshops include various topics that appeal to this audience.
What you'll get
These group sessions are aimed for children who have a sibling with a disability, offering them a space where they can share their experience and engage in age-appropriate activities, giving them the opportunity to feel understood and appreciated whilst having fun within a safe group.
These sessions allow children and adolescents to:
Meet other brothers and sisters of persons with disabilities
Have fun
Talk with others who “get it” about the good (and sometimes not so good) parts of having a sibling with disabilities
Be supported in seeking assistance when they need it
These groups are free of charge and are led by professionals.
Eligibility
Children and adolescents from 7 years to 12 years who have a sibling with disabilities.
