The Drug Addict Assistance may be awarded to a person who is following a drug or alcohol rehabilitation therapeutic program. The Drug Addict Assistance is not Means Tested.

The Drug Addict Assistance is paid on a weekly basis at a fixed rate.

Eligibility
General eligibility criteria:
The applicant must be attending the Drug/Alcohol Rehabilitation Program voluntarily and not as a result of a court decision.
Documentation required
General documentation:
Letter of admission to Drug/Alcohol Rehabilitation Program from the Rehabilitation Institution.
