Overview
The aim of the Telephone Rent Rebate service is to provide a bi-monthly discounted rental charge on an applicant’s residence direct telephone line. This service is only intended for senior citizens having a GO plc telephone service. There is no discount on telephone calls made by an applicant.
What you'll get
A discounted rental charge on the applicant’s residence direct telephone line. This subsidy amounts to a total of €11.50, therefore the rental charge is reduced from €13.99 to €2.49.
Eligibility
General eligibility criteria:
- A senior citizen over 60 years of age and is in possession of a valid Pink form issued by the Department of Social Security
- An applicant must have a fixed GO plc land line telephony service. This service must not be part of any contracts involving home packs or any other GO plc offers
