Application for the issuance of a Maltese eID card to Maltese Citizens.
What you'll get
A Maltese eID Card. The applicant may also apply for an eID account by filling in Section C in Application Form ID10 or Section B in Application Form ID10a.
Eligibility
Maltese Citizens over 14 years of age.
How to apply
Visit the Identity Cards Unit in Gattard House, National Road, Blata l-Bajda or The Tower, 1st Floor, Triq Fortunato Mizzi Victoria, Gozo during the following opening hours:
Monday to Friday – 7.30 am to 2.00 pm
Wednesday afternoon – 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm
Saturday – 7.30 am to 11.00 am
You may fill in the online form and submit it. Once submitted acknowledgement is sent by email which needs to be presented when visiting the ID cards Office.
In order to apply for an eID account, the applicant must have a personal email address.
