Manual Handling Course

Overview

This course is intended to raise awareness about the subject and shall not replace an employer’s legal obligation to provide training to her/his employees in terms of Act XXVII of 2000.

What you'll get

Understanding the ideal human posture.

i) Recognize and understand dangers of manual handling.
ii) Recognize constraints and variations required during various manual handling and lifting operations.
iii) Be able to carry out correct manual handling techniques.
iv) Familiarise themselves with L.N.35 of 2003 (Protection against Risks of Back Injury at Work Places) Regulations.
v) Be aware of the duties of the employer as to manual handling.

Course duration: 4 hours.

Eligibility

All employers, workers and self-employed.
