Overview
This form is used by any individuals or companies/business entities interested in carrying out bunkering operations within ports, internal and territorial waters of Malta. It is applicable for new and existing operators interested in renewing their permit. Bunkering operations may be carried out through bunkering terminals, bunker barges and/or road tankers.

Eligibility
In order to obtain a Bunker Operator Permit the individual must be:
1) At least 18 years of age
2) Be a Maltese Citizen or Citizen of an EU member state and a holder of a permanent address in Malta
3) Of good conduct
In the case of Maltese and EU companies, these need to be registered.
