Overview
The Environment and Resources Authority (ERA) regulates the environmental impact of enterprises operating a service station as required by the Control of Volatile Organic Compound - VOC Emissions (Storage and Distribution of Petrol from Terminals to Service Stations) Regulations (S.L. 549.52) and The Environmental Permitting (Procedure for Applications and their Determination) Regulations (S.L 549.172). To this effect, such facilties require an operational permit from ERA as the competent authority for these regulations.
What you'll get
Service stations will be granted an operational permit in order to be compliant with applicable environment legislation, therefore limiting and controlling the impacts on the environment.
