Energy and Water Awareness Micro-SMEs Visits

Last Updated: Wednesday 17 June 2026

Overview

The Energy and Water Agency has been offering an on-going service to Micro-SMEs, i.e. enterprises that employ less than 10 employees, by conducting a short visit at the premises of the enterprise during which, assessment on the electricity and water consumption patterns at the enterprise are carried out.  During these visits, EWA officials provide invaluable information and give professional advice to conserve energy and water.  Examples of such micro-enterprises are pharmacies, child-care centers, hair and beauty salons, restaurants and bars, offices and small retail outlets.

What you'll get

By following the various recommendations given, the Micro-SME will in the short, medium term, lower their electricity and water bills whilst contributing to the National Energy and Water Conservation Campaign.
