Overview
The Winter Catch-Up Programme 2026-27 is designed to support students who may need additional help with their studies, as well as those who wish to revise and feel more confident and at ease at school. The programme is open to all students from Year 1 to Year 11.
This initiative provides targeted revision of material covered during the previous scholastic year. Lessons will be delivered in small year-group settings by fully qualified teachers, covering both primary and secondary levels. The programme shall be running for thirty weeks between November 14th and June 5th every Saturday morning between 9:00 and 12:00.

Programme Duration
Dates: Saturday, 14th November 2026 – Saturday, 5th June 2027
Schedule: every Saturday morning for 30 weeks

Primary Centres: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Secondary Centres: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Qualified Teachers
All classes are led by fully qualified teachers holding a valid teaching warrant.
Subjects Offered
Students benefit from sessions in:
Maths, Maltese, English, Science and Physics
How to Apply
Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis
Once classes are full, students will be placed on a waiting list and contacted as soon as a place becomes available
Completely free of charge
Eligibility
Open to students from state and non-state schools.
Each application is evaluated on its individual merits, with reference to the student’s IEP and any relevant input.
Any decision to refuse an application will be supported by a written justification that is specific to the individual case
