This service allows individuals to apply for transponder keys to operate service pillars provided by the Department for Fisheries and Aquaculture.

Eligibility

Boat owners, hawkers, business owners and local councils can all apply for a transponder key.

How to apply

Fill in online application form and once approved, users will receive a notification to pay and eventually collect the transponder key.

 

Documents Required:

 

  • Copy of ID Card of owner if applying on behalf of the owner;

  • Logbook if applying on behalf of a fishing vessel;

  • Transport Malta Certificate if applying on behalf of an S or VLT registered vessel.
