Application for Full or Partial Surrender of the Goods or Services for which the Mark is Registered or Withdrawal of a Trademark

Overview

This is an application to request the full or partial surrender of a trademark, or the withdrawal of a trademark application.

What you'll get

The possibility to reduce the Goods and Services of a registered trademark, or else to completely remove a registered trademark, or withdraw a trademark application from the register by surrendering the whole list of goods and services covered by the trademark.

Eligibility

The applicant must be the owner of a registered trademark or a trademark application.

Documents required:

i) A power of attorney (if attorney is appointed).

ii) In case an attorney has not been appointed and owner of the trademark is an individual, attach a copy of identity card/passport.

iii) In case an attorney has not been appointed and owner of the trademark is a company, attach a copy of a declaration issued by the company certifying the surrender request.
