Registration of Plant Protection Products

Overview

This is an application form intended for an authorisation/registration of plant protection products to be placed on the Maltese market including mutual recognition, renewal of existing authorisation and emergency use. In this form it is required to provide information on the product and applicant, marketing authorisation from an EU competent authority, identicality of the product, registration report/dossier, letter of access if applicable, information on active ingredients and co-formulants, chemical composition, safety data sheets, labelling and packaging. The applicant is also required to attach copies of the documents mentioned in the application form.

What you'll get

Once the application form is duly filled in and sent to the Regulatory Affairs Directorate within the MCCAA, your request will be evaluated and if the documentation received is correct MCCAA will proceed to issue an authorisation for the plant protection product to be placed on the market.
