The application serves to confirm the nature of traditional breeds or varieties subject to AECM 6.

What you'll get

A document stating that your traditional breed or variety is considered of Maltese origin by the Government of Malta. This will serve as evidence to be supplied in complementation to AECM funding applications.

Eligibility

You are eligible to receive certification if you can provide evidence that you are the owner of individuals of autochthonous Maltese plants or animals, namely Maltese Black Chicken, Maltese Ox, Carob trees, Mulberry Trees.
