Servizz.gov Now in Gozo
Servizz.gov has continued to strengthen its presence within local communities through the opening of its first regional hub in Gozo. Located in St Francis Square, Victoria, the new hub brings the total number of Servizz.gov hubs across the Maltese Islands to 27.
The hub was inaugurated by Minister for Gozo, Clint Camilleri and Head of the Public Service, Tony Sultana, accompanied by Servizz.gov Chief Executive Officer, Massimo Vella.
Through the new hub, Gozitan residents can now obtain assistance and access hundreds of government services under one roof. These include various benefits, support schemes and assistance services.
Servizz.gov Chief Executive Officer, Massimo Vella said: “The opening of the Gozo hub is another way in which Servizz.gov is continuing to move closer to citizens by providing face-to-face assistance. This service is greatly sought after by citizens and by those who make use of our services, and we, therefore, felt it was important to take this step.”
Mr Vella added that the Gozitan community can continue using Servizz.gov’s other platforms, including Freephone 153, social media, the chatbot and the agency’s website, which provides access to approximately 1,200 government services.
The opening of the first Servizz.gov regional hub in Gozo marks another important step in the agency’s commitment to making public services more accessible, efficient and closer to the people.
