Overview

The majority of goods do not need a licence to be exported from Malta. However, a selection of goods as listed in the Schedule to the Exportation Control Regulations, 2004 (SL 117.02) need to attain prior authorisation from the Commerce Department before they can be released for export.

Eligibility

Natural persons, commercial and non-commercial private companies and government entities.

How to apply

  • Fill in pages 1, 2 and 3 of the online form.
  • Sign on page 3.
  • Click 'submit' on page 9.
