Overview
The transfer of an electricity/water supply account from a deceased account holder to his/her registered partner. There could be an impact on the billing rates as different rates are applied depending on the number of persons living in the premises. It is important to note that according to current Electricity Supply Regulations, the same person can only move his/her registration from one premises to another once a year.
What You'll Get
The account will be transferred to the surviving spouse or registered partner. It is important that the number of persons living in the premises is correctly registered on the account to ensure that the correct rates are applied together with the correct eco-reduction.
Eligibility
All account holders whose spouse is deceased and need to effect a transfer of the account. This application carries a fee of €4.66.
