The maximum duration for temporary electricity service is that of 6 months. Clients can extend the period of supply through this same application. Charges apply according to the service required and these are listed in the application form.

Temporary electricity supplies are useful in situations that are of a temporary nature and where a permanent supply is not suitable. The type of supply is normally suited to the requirements. Thus for example, temporary kiosks set up for a short period of time need a quick and safe service of electricity which can then be removed easily.

Any person or entity can apply, but in the case of construction sites, it is the owner of the site who needs to apply.
