Single Euro Payment Area (SEPA) Direct Debit Mandate

Overview

It authorises ARMS Ltd to automatically receive funds from the bank account of a client upon issuance of an invoice. It can be used as a one-time or for regular payment against invoices sent to the client. The client is advised of the amount prior to the withdrawal of funds through the bill received by post. In case of a contested bill, the client can request a refund which is granted before settlement of the disputed bill.

This payment method is similar to online payment, but clients on direct debit benefit from a 2% or a minimum of €3, whichever is the highest, on every invoice settled. This mandate gives peace of mind that bills are always settled on time without any risk of incurring interest. It also avoids the hassle of payments affected through queuing or writing a cheque.

Eligibility

All account holders on domestic or residential rates can apply for this payment method. The applicable rate for a bill can be seen on the bill itself.
