Overview
It is unlawful for any person to carry out any activity in connection with testing, processing, preservation, storage or distribution of human tissue and cells intended for human applications otherwise than in accordance with a licence issued under Article 3 of the Human Blood and Transplant Act.
What you'll get
An application form to license blood establishments involved in the collection, storage, processing and issue of whole blood, plasma or blood components of human origin. When the Licensing Authority grants a licence following an application, it shall give notice in writing to the blood establishment specifying the activities which may be undertaken at each site.
