Overview

This scheme aims to support accommodation operators in Gozo in the local/international promotion of the island as a holiday destination through digital marketing.

What you'll get

The Ministry for Gozo and Planning will cover up to 65% of the eligible expenditure for undertaking a digital marketing campaign, up to a maximum of €8,000.

Eligibility

Accommodation properties located in Gozo and licensed as accommodation providers with the Malta Tourism Authority (MTA) are eligible to apply, subject to the terms and conditions of the scheme.

Fill in the online form and submit.

This service can also be accessed through the myGozo mobile app which can be downloaded from the Play Store or App Store.

 

Documents Required

 

At application stage:

- VAT number of the professional digital marketing agency engaged and a copy of the signed contract OR a copy of the employment contract of the marketing manager;

- Content Marketing Plan;

- Malta Tourism Authority (MTA) Licence;

- Description of the marketing initiatives for which support is being requested;

- Signed de minimis Declaration form;

- Declaration by the Accommodation Provider.

At mid-timeline/end-timeline:

- A copy of the analytical results of the campaign from social media platforms and/or Google Analytics;

- A copy of the advertising and audio-visual material implemented;

- A copy of all the invoices (including fiscal VAT receipt, and bank transaction statement as proof of payment);

- If payment is not in Euro, a copy of the exchange rate on the date of payment;

- Signed de minimis Declaration form.
