Overview

Arbitration Proceedings commence with the filing of a Notice of Arbitration by the person initiating the proceedings (Claimant) together with the payment of the relevant filing fee.

What you'll get

Arbitration.mt, which is the online platform of the Centre in connection with arbitration proceedings, can also be used to submit the Statement of Claim, Statement of Defence, Counter-Claims, Summons of Witnesses, Submission of Other Documentation and Payment of fees/expenses due.

Arbitrators, parties and their counsel can also follow the current status of proceedings they are involved in, including the minutes of the sittings held.

Arbitration.mt also offers the possibility to view awards delivered in mandatory arbitration cases.

Eligibility

Any person wishing to initiate voluntary arbitration proceedings, the Claimant, or his/her representative.
