RHOL - Driver Attestation for Drivers of Goods Vehicles

Overview

A driver attestation is required by drivers of goods vehicles having a gross vehicle weight greater than 3,500 kg who are not EU Nationals. Employers of such drivers may apply for a driver attestation on behalf of their employee, as set out in the Motor Vehicles (Carriage of Goods by Road) Regulations (S.L. 65.19) and in Regulations 1072/2009/EC of the European Parliament and Council.

What you'll get

A Driver Attestation Certificate, valid until expiry of residential permit.

Eligibility

Non-EU citizens, employed by Maltese hauliers and holders of a residential permit issued by Identità Malta.

How to apply

Required documents:

i) A copy of the residential permit. 

ii) Submit the original application on collection of certificate. 

Iii) Fee of €6.
