Overview
Through this form, applicants can apply for a distress beacon registration card. Satellite Emergency Positioning Indicating Radio Beacon (EPIRBs) are regulated by the General Authorisations (Radiocommunications Apparatus) Regulations (S.L.399.40). In particular, please ensure that the assigned MMSI is duly programmed in this radiocommunications apparatus.

Eligibility
All vessels who fall under the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS Convention). Non-SOLAS vessels apply on voluntary basis.
