Work and Employment Services

Courses aimed at helping persons improve their education and acquire the required skills to find employment or retain it. Courses are available at different levels, from short courses of a few days through to vocational award certificate courses, pegged to the Maltese and European Qualification Frameworks, which can be completed in a few weeks or months.

Those trainees who succesfully complete the course will acquire a certificate. If the course followed is accredited by the National Commission for Higher and Further Education it will lead to a level rated Certificate. Employed individuals whose weekly wage does not exceed €300 following a course at Jobsplus will benefit from a financial grant of €25 per week provided that they attend a minimum of 4 hours of training per week and/or more depending on the programme schedule established by Jobsplus. The grant is given to an individual who successfully completes the whole course and payment is based on the hours an individual attends and the duration of the course.
