Notification by Employers for the Removal of Asbestos

Overview

A legal requirement falling within the scope of L.N. 323 of 2006. An employer has to notify OHSA where there exist high risks to workers from exposure to asbestos/asbestos containing material at the workplace and no work involving asbestos or of material containing asbestos may commence before OHSA is thus notified.
