Malta Certificate of Conduct

Overview

​Any applicant can obtain a Conduct Certificate by 

 

  • filling in the electronic form through the official website 

  • calling personally at the Criminal Records Office, 18 Market Street, Floriana. On the day of collection, applicants must personally produce a valid identification document.

 

​In cases where the applicant is not in a position to collect the certificate in person, an authorisation letter duly signed by the applicant may be produced by a third party. 
Along with the completed authorization form, the person collecting the conduct certificate on behalf of another person is required to present
 

  • a copy of the applicant's valid ID card and

  • a valid identity document of the collector
     

For Maltese applicants living abroad, the third party must produce an authorisation letter from the applicant. 
Along with the completed authorization form, the person collecting the conduct certificate on behalf of another person is required to present: 

 

  • a copy of the applicant's valid passport

  • a valid identity document or passport of the authorised person
