  • Application for the Issue of a Warrant to practice the Profession of a Conservator / Restorer in Malta

    This application provides for the granting of a warrant to practice the profession of Conservator-Restorer in Malta.
  • Expression Of Interest Application

    Individuals, groups or communities may forward traditional practices to be recognised as intangible cultural heritage with the possibility to proceed to the National Lists of Inventory.

  • Heritage Malta Membership

    The Heritage Malta Membership Scheme allows unlimited visits to all Heritage Malta sites open daily (except the Ħal Saflieni Hypogeum) and thus allows for substantial savings for a period of one calendar year from the date of issue.
  • Movement and/or Export from National Territory Declaration

    The form is a signed declaration by the exporter of personal goods, confirming that said personal goods do not include items of cultural heritage value, including works of art, antiques or archaeological artifacts.
  • National Inventory Application

    Further to approval of nomination at Expression of Interest stage, practitioner may proceed to nominate the element/practice for the National Inventory and a safeguarding plan. Some elements/practices may proceed to be nominated to representative lists of UNESCO.
  • Traditional Boats Restoration Scheme

    Traditional wooden boats may be considered as an essential aspect of Maltese culture, especially that related to maritime activities in the harbour areas and fishing villages.  Maltese boats are known for their unique colour scheme and the eye of Osiris certainly being one of the most striking Maltese cultural heritage assets that serve also as a tourist attraction. This scheme is thus earmarked to assist boat owners to restore and preserve their traditional wooden boats, namely the well-known luzzu, kajjik, firilla, frejgatina, dgħajsa tal-pass and dgħajsa tal-Latini
