  • Application for a Permit to Withdraw Goods from Customs Control

    Consignments of pharmaceutical goods entering into free circulation and intended specifically for consumption in Malta need the endorsement of the Commerce Department before they are released by Customs.
  • Application for a Surveillance Document

    Following the adoption by the European Commission of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2016/670 and of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2018/640, a surveillance document is needed to import or enter into free circulation, iron or steel products and aluminium products originating from third countries. The Annexes to these regulations list the specific commodity codes requiring a Surveillance Document.
  • Application for Authorisation for Export of Personal Protective Equipment

    The requirement for an export authorisation for personal protective equipment (PPE) was introduced by the European Commission through the publication of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/402 in view of supply shortfalls being experienced in the EU during the COVID-19 pandemic.​ This requirement applies to the products listed in Annex I to the Implementing Regulation.
  • Application for the Export of Dual-Use Items

    The Dual-use Items (Export Control) Regulations, 2004 (SL 365.12) provides for the issue of export authorisations for items categorised as dual-use in the First Schedule to these regulations. Depending on the end-destination a licence is also needed for the transit through Malta of dual-use items.
  • Application for the Export of Military Items

    The Military Equipment (Export Control) Regulations, 2001 (SL 365.13) provides for the issue of export authorisations for arms, weapons, ammunition, explosives, toxicological agents and other military equipment, including military vehicles, vessels of war, aircraft and electronic equipment. A list of military equipment which require an export authorisation may by found in the First Schedule to these regulations. Depending on the final destination such a licence is also needed for the transit through Malta of listed items.
  • Auctioneer Licence (Form F)

    This form secures a licence to act as an Auctioneer, once approved by the Auctioneers Board.
  • Cancellation Form for an Existing Trading Licence

    This form cancels an existing trading licence.
  • Car Boot Sale Licence (Form G)

    This form secures a licence to hold a car boot sale.
  • Commercial Fair & Exhibition Licence

    This form secures a licence to hold a commercial fair or exhibition within licensed premises, or a permit to open on a Sunday or a Public Holiday.
  • Co-operatives Board: Guideline Statute

    The statute regulates the internal management of the proposed co-operative and the relationship between members and the COM and also the relationship between the co-operative itself and third parties, including the Co-operatives Board.
