The MCCAA trading as the Standards and Metrology Institute is the Control Authority that provides certification of operators who produce, process, import (from non-EU countries), retail, wholesale and/trade organic food products in accordance to the requirements of the organic regulation EC Reg 834 of 2007. If your organization requires such certification, you may start by requesting a quote and fill in the application form.

This standard is intended to be used by Pest Management service providers and certification bodies for conformity assessment activities to assist clients to make an informed choice of pest management control programmes, and to increase the likelihood of expectations (legal, customer service, etc.) being met and an increased opportunity to achieve set targets safely. When you as a consumer do not manage to amicably resolve a dispute with a trader and hence require assistance from the Office for Consumer Affairs, you will need to lodge a complaint by filling in the complaint form. In this form you are required to provide your personal details, the details of the trader you have a dispute with, information on the type of product or service purchased, and also a brief description of the problems encountered. Together with the complaint form you are also required to attach copies of the documents related to the problematic purchase.
