Lenti Project

Lenti fuq l-Iżvilupp ta` Wliedna is a national early screening programme for potential developmental delays. This programme helps to identify possible developmental delays, learning difficulties, and/or educational needs so that children can be supported before starting early years education. Assessment is carried out by speech and language pathologists from the Ministry for Health. Invitations are sent to parents/ guardians of children at 24 months to participate in the Lenti screening from the Ministry for Education, Sport, Youth, Research and Innovation (MEYR).

Providers can opt to register as a non-formal providers with DQSE and abide by quality standards.
Renewal of Teacher’s Temporary Warrant

Minors who have not yet completed compulsory schooling need a school exemption for work purposes. This mostly applies for students who are in Form 4 and who have an opportunity to work during summer or after school hours, or fifth Formers who want to work after school hours.
Service for the Visual Impaired

Teachers specialising in visual impairments support students, families, and schools from infancy to Year 11. They provide guidance on educational needs, assistive technologies, curriculum accessibility, and safe environments, contributing to assessments. Teachers for the hearing impaired also contribute to individualised education plans and tailored programmes for students' success.
Servizz Għożża

This service supports young mothers, and their partners, together with their respective parents, offering prevention programmes focused on relationships and sexual education. It provides prevention sessions to Year 9 students and informative meetings for Year 7 parents.
Social Work Service

When a student utterly refuses to attend school or plays truant from school, the social worker can guide and assist parents and work with and support him/her.
