Veterinary Studies Scholarships Scheme is intended to support students pursuing a course in Veterinary Studies leading to (MQF Level 7) abroad leading to registration of a Veterinary Surgeon as determined by the board of Veterinary Surgeons.

Stipend is being granted from MGUS.

 

Aims and Objectives

The launch of this new scholarship scheme will enable students following the Course in Veterinary studies leading to (MQF Level 7) to apply and be awarded a more rewarding financial package covering the duration of 5yrs until completion and ultimately graduating in Veterinary Medicine at a Recognised Institution and with level 7 certification of the Malta Qualification Framework.

How to apply

How to apply

When a call for scholarships opens, applicants are to access, read the regulations thoroughly, and apply and submit the online application available on website https://education.gov.mt/myscholarships/.   This needs to be filled and submitted by the deadline specified in the respective scheme regulations. It is important that applicants have an active eID account.

The online application may also include:

▶ one (1) copy of the letter of Unconditional Letter of Acceptance from the recognised institution applied for (if available at the time of application);

▶ any other documentation which may assist the VSSS Board to assess better the Applicant’s merit (if requested by the Administrator).

 

The below supporting documents must be uploaded with the application: -

▶ A copy of Curriculum Vitae clearly stating all qualifications attained by the Applicant (mandatory)

▶ A copy of the ULA (if applicable)

▶ A copy of the residence permit (where applicable)

▶ A copy of the MQRIC evaluation report/receipt

▶ A motivational statement (mandatory)

▶ An approximately 500 word abstract focusing on the impact your studies will have on the Veterinary field in Malta. (mandatory)

▶ Progress report and academic transcript (if any)

▶ Reference letter (See Appendix mandatory)
