  • 2023 Roof Insulation and Double Glazing (Retrofitting) Scheme

    The Roof Insulation (retrofitting) and Double Glazing (retrofitting) scheme is administered by the Regulator for Energy and Water Services to encourage the use of systems that reduce the consumption of energy in the domestic sector. This scheme is funded through national funds and applies to private individuals (natural persons) for use on their residential properties and for organisations that are not carrying out an economic activity.
  • A Grant on the Purchase of Activated Carbon Filters – Call 2025/Tap Water Scheme

    The Tap Water (TW) scheme is administered by the Regulator for Energy and Water Services with the aim to reduce the use of plastic containers utilised for bottling water, by water filtration system. This scheme is funded through national funds and applies to private individuals (natural persons) for use on their residential properties, and for organisations that are not carrying out an economic activity.

  • A grant on the purchase of Renewable Energy Systems in the domestic sector – Call 2024/RES

    The RES Scheme is administered by the Regulator for Energy and Water Services to further encourage the better use of the renewable energy being generated by the country. This scheme is funded through national funds and applies to private individuals (natural persons) for use on their residential properties, and for organisations that are not carrying out an economic activity, provided that photovoltaic installation should have no active feed-in tariff allocation. If the photovoltaic installation was allocated a feed-in tariff, the
    guaranteed period should be expired.
  • A grant on the purchase of Water Heater Systems in the domestic sector – Call 2025/WH

    The Renewable Energy system scheme is administered by the Regulator for Energy and Water Services to further encourage the use of renewable sources of energy for domestic use. The scheme is funded through National Funds and applies to private individuals (natural persons) for use on their residential properties, and for organisations that are not carrying out an economic activity. 

  • A Grant on the Purchase of Water Purifying Equipment – Call 2024/Reverse Osmosis

    The Reverse Osmosis (RO) scheme is administered by the Regulator for Energy and Water Services to reduce the use of plastic containers utilised for bottling water, by reverse osmosis and reverse osmosis with reject water return.  This scheme is funded through national funds and applies to private individuals (natural persons) for use on their residential properties, and for organisations that are not carrying out an economic activity.  

  • Application - Part A – 2021 PV VO Scheme (3rd Call)

    The Photovoltaic scheme for Voluntary Organisations is a scheme that is administered by the Ministry for Energy, Enterprise and Sustainable Development (MESD) to encourage the use of renewable energy equipment on their premises. This scheme is funded through national funds and applies to voluntary organisations that are enrolled and compliant as defined in the Voluntary Organisations Act (Cap. 492).

  • Application for new Electric and/or Water Services

    This application is to introduce a new water and/or electricity supply in a premises not already supplied with utilities. There can only be one utility source in a premises and therefore if a supply already exists, the  application will not be accepted.

  • Application for Redress (Form H1)

    Account holders are entitled to redress from ARMS Ltd in relation to a previous application for a change in the number of persons on the account, which they believe was unfairly denied. EU citizens may exceptionally apply for redress in cases where no prior application was made, provided that they submit appropriate evidence of their primary residence in Malta at the address which is linked to the account, at the time in question. Once the application is processed the account holder can have a back-dated change in tariff from domestic to residential.
  • Authorisation of Verification of Pending Dues (Form N)

    An account holder can authorise ARMS Ltd to release account details to third parties. It is used by a proxy to collect information relating to any pending dues on a particular account.
