To further encourage the use of renewable energy equipment in the domestic sector, REWS is launching a new 2020 PV scheme. This new scheme will follow exactly the same procedures as for the past scheme and private individuals (natural persons) making use of space on their residential properties, and organisations that are not carrying out an economic activity may gain from this scheme. This new but similar scheme is nationally funded and the budget allocation for this scheme amounts to €3M.

The shifting of the water meter by a short distance perpendicular to the mains which does not require a connection does not involve a charge. When the shifting of the water metre entails a new connection, a charge equivalent to the fee of a new water service application is applicable. This application may also be used to change iron water pipes, in which case, the applicant must install an earth electrode before changing the service.

Request an up-to-date bill by filling this application. Such an application is normally submitted when a customer needs a recent reading and bill in hand or to bring estimated readings in line with actual meter readings. There is a fee of €2.33 for each service (water or electric) which is charged to the account on the bill issued.

It authorises ARMS Ltd to automatically receive funds from the bank account of a client upon issuance of an invoice. It can be used as a one-time or for regular payment against invoices sent to the client. The client is advised of the amount prior to the withdrawal of funds through the bill received by post. In case of a contested bill, the client can request a refund which is granted before settlement of the disputed bill.

This scheme is to encourage the use of renewable sources of energy for domestic use.

To obtain a temporary electricty supply. Temporary electricity supplies are normally limited to kiosks, stands, street decorations and construction sites. The maximum duration for temporary electricity service is that of 6 months. Clients can extend the period of supply through this same application. Charges apply according to the service required and these are listed in the application form.
