Overview
Any person or Company that wishes to trade or import into Malta, food or food contact materials must be registered with the Food Safety Commission. From time to time, traders may be inspected for their compliance. All traders must comply with the Trading Regulation, 2004 L.N 315 of 2004. Once registered, applicant will receive an acknowledgment with the Traders Registration Number.
What You'll Get
After registration, traders will be included in the Register of Traders of the Food Safety Commission. Applicants will be given a Trader Registration Number and will be able to operate as Traders.
