  • Gozo Resident Workers’ Subsidy including the Collective Transport Subsidy

    Gozo residents working in Malta are entitled to the subsidy issued by the Ministry for Gozo and Planning. 

  • Grant Payable to Gozitan Resident Students Following Full-Time Courses in Malta

    Students’ resident in Gozo who are following full-time courses in Malta can apply for a Government subsidy. Each student will be required to complete a form and submit necessary documents at the beginning of each academic year.

  • Grant Payable to Malta Resident Students Following Full-Time Courses in Gozo

    Students resident in Malta who are following full-time courses in Gozo can apply for a Government subsidy. The subsidy of €500 per quarter is granted during the academic year, i.e. from October to June and will cover 3-month periods (October to December; January to March; and April to June). Each student will be required to complete a form at the beginning of each academic year.
  • Online Calendar and Booking Platform for Public Spaces in Gozo

    The Ministry for Gozo and Planning invites artists/organisers/organisations/NGOs who would like to organise an activity or event within the public spaces, to express their interest and present a brief proposal. Proposals will need to be approved by the Ministry for Gozo and Planning. These will be allocated on a first come, first served basis after due consideration of the proposal.

  • Organise a Clean-up Event in Gozo

    The Ministry for Gozo and Planning is inviting the general public and/or voluntary organisations to organise clean-up events around Gozo. The Ministry will be supporting such clean up events by providing materials and other support that may be required.

  • Registration for the Storage of Pitkali Crates in Gozo

    All Gozitan farmers registered with the Front Office Rural Gozo (ex FOPA/IACS) in possession of Pitkali Crates will be eligible to deposit their crates at this facility.
  • Restoring Upgrading Venues with the Capacity to Host MICE Events in Gozo

    The Beneficiary (a Voluntary Sector Organization or a Private Business entity) that undertakes a project to restore and upgrade their venue facilities to enhance their capabilities of hosting qualitative MICE activities, shall be entitled to financial grants subject to meeting the criteria set in the Guidance Notes.

  • Scheme for the distribution of Maltese trees and indigenous plants in Gozo

    All persons with fields in Gozo that are registered with the Front Office Rural Gozo (ex FOPA/IACS) are eligible to apply for this scheme
  • Supporting Knowledge-Based Sectors in Gozo Scheme

    The scheme will provide aid to Employers operating within specific knowledge-intensive economic sectors, in the form of:

    1. Partial reimbursement of salaries for full-time employment on an indefinite basis:
    2. either of newly employed staff, to carry out duties pertaining to the specific knowledge-intensive sector;
    3. or of staff already employed with the same undertaking uninterrupted as from 1st January 2018 onwards, carrying out duties pertaining to the specific knowledge-intensive sector. In such cases, eligibility is restricted to employees for which their employer has already benefitted from the full 3-year cycle under the Gozo Back Office Employment Refund Scheme or Gozo Employment Refund Scheme
    4. Partial reimbursement of training/tuition/registration costs incurred for participation in training, conferences, seminars, and conventions, pertaining to the specific knowledge-intensive sector, taking place either online, locally, or abroad.

  • Supporting Marketing Initiatives for the Accommodation Sector in Gozo

    This scheme aims to support accommodation operators in Gozo in the local/international promotion of the island as a holiday destination through digital marketing.
