This scheme aims to support accommodation operators in Gozo in the local/international promotion of the island as a holiday destination through digital marketing.

Supporting Sustainable Quality Employment in Gozo Scheme

The Supporting Sustainable Quality Employment in Gozo Scheme will provide aid, in the form of partial salary reimbursements, to employers located and with a registered address in Gozo, to sustain this transition towards enhanced full-time employment sustainability on an indefinite basis:

a) either of newly employed staff based in Gozo.

b) or of staff based in Gozo, already employed with the same undertaking uninterruptedly as from 1^st January 2018 onwards and for which their employer has already benefitted from the full 3-year cycle under the Gozo Employment Refund Scheme or Gozo Back-Office Employment Refund Scheme.

Supporting the Adventurous Tourism Industry in Gozo through Hiring Equipment Refund Scheme 2023

The objective behind this scheme is to incentivise private operators within the Adventure Tourism Niche to continue investing in sustainable, modern and up-to-standard equipment, while also increasing their capacity.

Teleworking to Gozitan Employees based in Malta in the Private Sector

The Gozo Teleworking Scheme will provide aid to eligible employers, based or having business premises in Malta to offer their Gozo resident employees stationed there, the facility to work from home should their job-related tasks be equally fulfilled. Through this scheme, aid is to be granted to employers in the form of a financial grant spread over a 3-year period, paid proportionately on the number of days the employee is granted telework. The scheme also offers a financial grant related to the Technological and Capital Investment to equip the employee with the necessary tools to perform tasks.
