  • Application for Temporary Mooring Permit

    Application form to be used by individiuals or organisations to apply for a new Temporary Mooring Permit. This incentive will help vessel owners apply for a mooring spot in one of their preferred locality (maximum four localities). This Application is to be re-validated every 2 years. 

  • Application to temporarily use a mooring/berth

    The aim for this application is to temporarily use a mooring or a berth already registered with the Authority. This application will help vessel owners to apply to use a mooring or a berth for a specific time frame against a fee. 

  • Apply for a designated restricted area

    Any individual or organisation is able to apply for a designated restricted area by visiting the Authority or by email. Such area requested, if approved, shall be included in the relative Notice to Mariners and issued with a permit which shall include a set of terms and conditions, one of which that such area must be open with free access to the public.

  • Assignment of Manufacturing Identification Code (MIC)

    Applicable to companies or individuals intending to engage in the construction and manufacture of pleasure craft with a maximum length of 24 metres.

  • Authorisation for a mooring block (Replace, relocate or add)

    Any individual or organisation with a Temporary Mooring Permit requesting to replace, relocate or add a mooring block are able to collect the necessary forms and documentation from the Authority's office. The forms are requested to be submitted 2 days prior the commencement of work. The Authority holds every right to approve or disapprove the requested work requested by any individual or organization. 

  • Change of vessel on temporary mooring permit

    Any individual or organisation who intends to change the vessel has to inform the Authority prior to registering the new vessel on his name. If approval to change vessel is given due to vessel's new size and according to the locality, the individual or organisation requesting this change is required to visit the Authority's office with a valid vessel certificate and a valid identification document. In cases when the new vessel is larger in size, the individual or organisation will sign a form stating that should it obstructs other vessels or create navigational issues, vessel has to be removed. The Authority holds every right to approve or disapprove any requested change. 

  • General complaints regarding moorings and berthings

    Any individual or organisation is able to submit a complaint regarding mooring and berthing matters either by visiting the Authority's offices or via generic email.

  • Order of stickers and buoys

    All individuals or organizations holding a Temporary Mooring permit are requested to order buoy and vessels stickers with the permit number. Any individual or organisation is able to order the stickers at the Authority's office or through email. Once the stickers arrive, the individual or organization are contacted to collect and pay for the ordered stickers. 

  • Re-allocation of Temporary Mooring Request

    Any individual or organisation is able to request a re-allocation of a Temporary Mooring by visiting the Authority's offices and fill out the necessary forms. The individuals or organisations are requested to bring a valid identification document and a valid vessel registration certificate to apply for a re-allocation. 

  • Renouncing a temporary mooring permit

    Any individual or organisation deciding to renounce their Temporary Mooring Permit can inform the Moorings & Berthings unit and visit the unit's offices to sign the necessary documentation.
