  • Connecting a Combined Heat and Power Plant to the Grid (Form CHP)

    Account holders who wish to connect a combined heat and power plant (CHP) to the grid. To date, operation of a CHP is normally limited to large entities who stand to benefit by exporting and selling a significant amount of electricity to the grid.
  • Connecting a Micro Wind Turbine to the Grid (Form We)

    Enemalta plc needs to be informed through this application before applicants connect a micro wind turbine to the grid.
  • Connecting a Photovoltaic (PV) to the Grid

    Account holders who install photovoltaic equipment or who already have a photovoltaic installation and need to change the parameters of the installation, principally adding more panels. Enemalta plc needs to be informed through this application before such an installation is commissioned.
  • Declaration of Service which is not in Regular Use (Form M)

  • Domestic Cisterns Resoration Scheme -2018

    The Domestic Cisterns Restoration scheme is administered by the Regulator for Energy and Water Services to further encourage the harvesting and use of rainwater in the domestic sector. This scheme is funded through national funds and applies to private individuals (natural persons) for use on their residential properties, and for organisations that are not carrying out an economic activity.
  • Domestic Wells Grant

    This scheme is to encourage the harvesting and use of rainwater in the domestic sector. Eligible expenditure includes repairs of cisterns (wells or bjar) and installation of second class water systems. The scheme applies to private individuals for use on their residential properties, and for organisations that do not fall within the concept of ‘undertaking’ for use on communal residences.
  • Double Glazing Scheme for Birzebbugia Residents

    The scope of this scheme is to aid those households in specific areas of Birżebbuġa that are in close proximity to the Freeport, so as to replace any external facing apertures which are antiquated or inefficient and change them to better sound insulating ones.

    This scheme provides a grant of up to 90% of the eligible costs.
  • Electricity Power Factor Correction (Form Ee)

    Through this facility heavy consumers of electricity are encouraged to improve their operating power factor. By improving their power factor they reduce the transmission losses and hence benefit from preferential tariffs. The tariff applicable with such installation is based on kVAh (Kilovolt-amper hour).
  • Electricity Service Alteration (Shift Physical Location; Change from/to Single to Three Phase)(Form Be)

    To increase or decrease the power supplied to a premises or to shift the physical location of an electricity service. In the case of shifting, electricity services should be located close to the entrance of a premises.
  • Electricity Service Removal (Form Ce)

    Termination of service. Disconnection of supply and removal of the electricity meter.
